I liked this diagram from Harold Jarche. It's a useful build on the stuff I explored here. I am interested in how training needs to evolve if we start thinking of networks rather conventional hierarchies. So(cial) Lo(cal) Mo(bile) is worth chewing over.

Not so sure about the 19C as many craft guilds & masons date from then or earlier http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guild

So networks have been around a long time....
